Community Guidelines & Terms of Service [TOS]
New Users & Guests
We welcome newcomers whole-heartedly into our growing community. Many of our community members have a wealth of knowledge and much to share. Established members are eager to help new members learn about how to find information and resources and how to navigate and get involved in the Community.
The Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI) is the ORIGINAL Airstream community and the oldest in existence.
It was inspired by Wally Byam and established in 1955.
Although we promote and encourage membership in the Wally Byam Caravan Club International, paid membership is NOT necessary to participate in our Community Forums.
This is a community of individuals who share a common interest in Airstream travel trailers and motorhomes.
This Forums purpose is to provide a platform for members and enthusiasts alike to share information, fellowship and friendship and to preserve the long, rich history of the Airstream Company, Wally Byam, and the iconic Airstream Travel Trailer.
The structure of this forum has been graciously provided by Vintage Airstream Inc. The content is the sole responsibility of the WBCCI. The WBCCI Inc. is a non profit organization chartered in Ohio, USA.
Please think before you post and keep your comments courteous. When in doubt, remember the Golden Rule – “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. We encourage everyone to participate in and enjoy this community while at the same time adhering to the following guidelines:

Classifieds ads
A few words concerning classified ads... Our minimal charge is far less than other major professional online classified sites and the fee-based system deters third parties, online criminals and scammers which are rampant on competitor ”
free” listings.
Regardless of the website or organization’s best intentions, with a non-payment based system online criminals roam at will...without risk any of exposure or requirements for positive proof of identity.
We take your security seriously and this website is monitored constantly and personally by the owners, administrators and moderators.
We also employ the very latest in security technology for your protection.
ANY suspicious contact by another user should be reported to an administrator or moderator immediately. This behavior will not be tolerated and suspicious accounts will be terminated immediately.
Place only one item per ad. Do not place ads directing others to an ebay or other online sale or directing others to another website.
Ads automatically expire after a set period of time and upon expiring may be renewed or reposted.
Blogs
Personal travel & restoration Blogs are provided as a membership benefit for our members.
Member blogs should conform to our stated forum rules. Objectionable content will
be removed at the descretion of our Staff.
Blogs are not intended for commercial use or advertising or for the sole purpose of linking to outside websites. If you wish to post a link to your blog or personal website please use our links directory.
Commercial Vendor and Customer Disputes
Our forum is not to be used as a platform for individuals to vent frustrations concerning vendors or sales from private parties.
Resolve issues with a seller, manufacturer and dealer through the proper legal channels, law enforcement authorities or the Better Business Bureau and not through our forum community.
The personal safety and security of our community members is our first priority above all else. Repeated complaints of questionable behavior from our membership concerning a particular commercial business or vendor can result in suspension or termination of the Vendor's account.
Mission
The primary objective of this forum is the continued renewal of spirit of the original Wally Byam Caravan Club...which to a large degree was quite simply to have fun. At its core the fundamental goal is for Airstreamers from across the globe to organize and create a community of friends who share 2 main commonalities...the love of the Airstream travel trailer and the thrill of the open road.
Wally Byam's Creed

- To provide a more satisfying, meaningful way of travel that offers complete travel independence, wherever and whenever you choose to go or stay.
- To keep alive and make real an enduring promise of high adventure and faraway lands... of rediscovering old places and new interests.
- To open a whole world of new experiences... a new dimension in enjoyment where travel adventure and good fellowship are your constant companions.
- To encourage clubs and rallies that provide an endless source of friendships, travel fun and personal expressions.
- To lead caravans wherever the four winds blow... over twinkling boulevards, across trackless deserts... to the traveled and untraveled corners of the earth.
- To play some part in promoting international goodwill and understanding among the peoples of the world through person-to-person contact.
- To refine and perfect our product by continuous travel-testing over the highways and byways of the world.
- To strive endlessly to stir the venturesome spirit that moves you to follow a rainbow to its end... and thus make your travel dreams come true.
