Shorehaven is located in the southern section of New Jersey's shore and is situated about halfway between Atlantic City and Cape May. The park is about five miles inland from both Sea Isle City and Avalon.

The atmosphere as Shorehaven is very laid back. The pace is a bit slower in this park as there are a bunch of retired Airstreamers who call Shorehaven their summer home. The weekends draw the working class crowd and their kids.

The pool is usually packed with all ages by the afternoon and empties in time for the Saturday evening Happy Hour festivities held at the pavilion.

How close is the nearest beach? We are planning a caravan east for 2011 and may want to add this park to our stops.

ED, Shore Haven is about 30 minutes with traffic from Ocean City to the North, and Wildwood to the South. OC being a dry town and geared to the family. WW for the more extreme crowd. South of Wildwood is Cape May and worth the time of a visit. Jersey Shore Haven is the best deal going when headed to the Jersey Shore. That is for those of us with Airstream Trailers.
